Tetsuya Komuro ( 小 室 哲 哉 Komuro Tetsuya , nascido em 27 de novembro de 1958) é um músico, cantor, compositor e produtor musical japonês aposentado. Ele é reconhecido como o produtor de maior sucesso na história da música japonesa e introduziu a dance music no mainstream japonês. Ele também foi proprietário da discoteca Velfarre localizada em Roppongi , Tóquio. Ele é amplamente considerado como uma das figuras mais influentes do pop nos anos 90 e uma lenda na indústria da música.

Em 1946 dois antigos companheiros das forças armadas japonesas decidiram fundar uma empresa. O mais velho, Masaru Ibuka, contava então com 37 anos de idade e possuía conhecimentos na área de sonares enquanto que o mais jovem, Akio Morita, era professor de Física aos 25 anos.

Sob o convite de Ibuka, Akio decidiu abdicar de seu futuro como administrador dos negócios da família Morita (tradicional produtora de saquê até então) para juntos fundarem a Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha (Totsuko). Com muita dificuldade logo de início, Ibuka pagava aos seus poucos funcionários com dinheiro do seu próprio bolso. Akio conseguia se manter com seu salário de professor e trabalhava o restante do tempo na nova empresa. Curiosamente, o primeiro produto que tentaram produzir era uma panela elétrica - um produto que nunca funcionou bem. 

O objetivo de Ibuka desde o início era criar um gravador de fita, mas sequer tinha pensado em como conseguir as fitas. Após muita pesquisa e meses de prejuízo, eles finalmente conseguiram produzir as fitas que tanto desejavam e pouco tempo depois lançaram o seu primeiro gravador de fita. Porém, novos problemas estavam por vir. O produto era caro e das 50 unidades iniciais eles não conseguiram vender uma sequer. Foi então que compreenderam que aquilo não era necessariamente útil para as pessoas comuns, mas poderia ser útil para alguém, só precisariam saber: quem? 

Por sugestão de Akio, levaram uma unidade para um tribunal e lá fizeram demonstrações do produto: venderam 20 unidades em apenas um dia!  A partir daí o conceito de fabricar coisas úteis ao dia-a-dia das pessoas se incorporou na empresa.

Aya Kamiki (上木 彩矢 Kamiki Aya?, born September 10, 1985, in Sapporo, Hokkaido) is a Japanese singer-songwriter. Her style ranges from pop, rock to rhythm and blues. She resides in Osaka, and is signed with Tokyo-based AVEX recording label. She speaks moderate Chinese, and because of this, she has a notable fanbase in China. [citation needed]

Kamiki learned to play the piano when she was 4 years old. In junior high school, she began singing live. Influenced by punk rock, she also learned how to play the guitar.

In 2005, Kamiki released her two mini-albums "Constellation" and "Rock On" from the independent record label Weed Records.

Kamiki's singing career was mainly active in Osaka, where she garnered positive results. Her voice was so full of force that it was part of her reputation. She made appearances in music and fashion magazines, which caught people's attention.

In 2006, Kamiki signed on with Giza Studio and released her first major label single "Communication Break" on March 15. On April 12, her second single "Pierrot" was released. The song was respectively written and composed by B'z members Koshi Inaba and Tak Matsumoto, although the lyrics in Kamiki's version were slightly modified. It was released on the same day as the B'z single "ゆるぎないものひとつ" (Yuruginaimono Hitotsu), which contained "Pierrot" as its 2nd Beat (B-side). The single reached 9th place on the Oricon charts. Her third single "Mou Kimidake-wo Hanashitari-wa Shinai" peaked at the 11th place, and her first full album "Secret Code" debuted at 5th place. In order to promote Secret Code's release, Kamiki held two mini-concerts. One was as "Black Kamiki" and was performed at Tower Records in Shibuya. The other (later on the same day), was as "White Aya" and was performed at HMV in Shibuya. Entrance was free, provided that you had purchased Secret Code at the corresponding store.

Early 2007, Kamiki was one of the winners of the 21st Japan Gold Disc Award's New Artist of the Year.

In 2009, she moved the avex trax label and before leaving GIZA Studio, she released a best album titled, "Greatest Best" and she released her 12th single named "WBX (W-Boiled Extreme)" on November 11.

In 2010, her fourth album, Individual Emotion, was released on January 27, whereas the one of the track, "The Light" was released as a PV. Then on July 14, her 13th single, "Revolver" was released, then shortly after on August 11, she released her mini-album, "Gloriosa".

Ayumi Hamasaki is a Japanese singer-songwriter and former actress. Folder 5 [BIO]

Folder 5 (Japan) was a spinoff group from another J-pop group, Folder, also signed to Avex Trax. Along with the five girls, Folder also had two male members, Daichi and Joe. When Daichi and Joe left the group due to puberty, Folder became Folder 5. In 2000 they released their first single, "Supergirl". Their third single, "Believe", was used as the second opening theme for the popular anime One Piece. The song "Ready!" from their forth single "Stay..." was used as the theme song in the short "Jango's Dance Carnival" that was shown with One Piece's second movie, "Clockwork Island Adventure". They also made frequent appearances on the show Yoru mo Hippare. Their song "Magical Eyes" was also used as the opening theme for the Xbox game Nezumix, also known in North America and Europe as Sneakers, though it was removed in all English releases. After the release of their 8th single, "My Miracle," in May 2002, they have released no more singles. Furthermore, their final album to date was a best album. Thus, it appears as though they have disbanded, although no official announcement was ever made. Additionally, some members of Folder 5 moved on to solo careers.
